Failed 1 hour glucose test

Has anyone failed the 1 hour test only to pass the 3 hour? I only failed by 5 points! I am so frustrated and disappointed right now. Is there anything I should do to make my chances of passing better?

First pregnancy I failed the 1 hr and passed the 3 hr.

2nd pregnancy (current) I failed both.

There really isn’t anything you can do to prep your body for the 3 hour. It’s all about your placenta and hormones. Can’t change those things.

I just did 2 weeks ago! Failed the 1 hour by 8 points, then passed the 3 hour. Crossing my fingers for you!

Have to do the 3 hour test on Wednesday and not looking forward to it 😣

I also didn’t passed the one hour test but with my baby in my belly I get so hungry so fast I wouldn’t be able to do the three hour test and fasting so they gave me the option to just go ahead and use the gestational diabetes meter and we are going off of that to see if I do have gestational diabetes

Can’t stop eating

I’m only 9 weeks and I cannot stop eating!! As soon as I’ve eaten, I need something else. I’m eating about 10 meals a day currently. Mostly carbs.
I’ve already put on a lot of weight. Is this normal in the first trimester and will it calm down?! 😭

TMI - feeling a bit of pressure down there at 21 weeks, is that normal?

It started today around midday and I only feel pressure down there when I’m walking or standing up but if I’m sitting or laying down, am fine!

winter baby

i’m very grateful to be pregnant but i’m not excited to be due in january!

this will be my second baby, my first was also born in jan (2023) and i absolutely hated the whole timeline of my pregnancy with her. i always find january a very difficult month to get through (winter in general) and definitely thought it had a big impact on my postnatal experience.

im due two days after my daughters due date (one day before her birthday) and hate the fact they’ll have birthdays so close.

any positive outlooks or reassurance would be appreciated! i’m all for this baby, just struggling to be happy about the dates!

Baby Number 2

Hey all!

I just wanted to share with someone that I tested positive today for baby number 2!
I cannot believe this is happening.
I only have the coil taken out 4 and a half weeks ago!
Fingers crossed it makes it to term 🤞🤞.

I can't quite believe it!

High risk 2nd pregnancy

So I knew from my previous experience that I was going to be high risk this time round however, I didn’t realise I would be SO high risk!
My booking appointment with midwife today has left me feeling so anxious and worried about this pregnancy.
After an extremely traumatic birth with my son (cat 1 emergency c section under general anaesthetic) I was hoping this time round would be a healing experience.
Due to my blood pressure history, traumatic birth, blood loss, a fibroid I have etc etc etc I am feeling very much deflated.
No idea what I want to gain from this post but just wanted to get it off my chest.

Update for the NIPT

So defeated. I posted yesterday about how it’s been almost two weeks since I did my NIPT testing without getting results. I called the lab today (Quest diagnostics) they said it was finalized days ago and that the lab wasn’t completed because there wasn’t enough fetal fraction in it. We just moved to a new area over the weekend and apparently my new OB does their own lab draws in office and they are only open the exact days and hours that my new job is. I don’t even know how to ask for time off to do it because I haven’t even told my new job I’m pregnant yet.

I guess this was more of a vent 🥲
