First Child having First Grandchild!!

hey ladies so I want to know who all have experience being the first child to have the first grandbaby!! Me and my husband are both the oldest siblings and are having the first baby in our families!!!!! Everyone is super excited and I'm happy!! But sometimes when I sit back and my mind gets to going I think about how it might be overwhelming for me when baby comes. I think about how it will be at the hospital after birth and especially when I get home with all the visiting!! We are also very private and to ourselves couple so I have a feeling I'm gonna get overwhelmed with all of it but I'm glad I have all the support I just want to make sure everyone kinda knows how to be chill lol!! Any advice on how to navigate overly excited family members lol, I believe it will just be the grandmas the most!!!

We were the first on my side of the family. I made kind of a list for our families of what to follow so you could try that. Since it’s your first maybe don’t even tell people you are in labor or have had the baby until you have a few days to yourselves to get adjusted. You could also let people know to not come over just whenever. Please call or text to see if it’s okay. You want the privacy of being first time parents with also having family come over but you don’t want people over 24/7

Mfffffff

So I am 34 weeks and 5 days I had an OB appointment today and found out I'm about 2 1/2 cm dilated already and then I went over for my ultrasound and this mf is breech☠️ she's been head down the whole time until now so if anyone has any tips on how to get her to flip back down that would be great.

Anxiety

I’m pregnant with my 3rd and finding it so hard to get excited. I’m absolutely riddled with anxiety over something going wrong because I’ve been lucky twice. It doesn’t help when you click on here and almost every post mentions miscarriage or pregnancy after loss, it’s terrifying. Anyone else in the same boat?

Insecurities

Is it normal to feel extremely insecure during pregnancy? This is my second pregnancy, and I’m currently 27 weeks. I’ve been with my fiancé for 6 years, but lately I can’t help feeling like he isn’t interested in me because of the way I look.

It doesn’t help that toward the end of my last pregnancy, I found out he was looking at girls in our area on Instagram who went to the same gym as him, and that has stuck with me ever since. I know a lot of this may be coming from the fact that I’m not feeling confident in my own body and I’m still adjusting to all the changes that come with pregnancy, but it’s really starting to affect my mental health.

I feel like my mind constantly focuses on negative thoughts about my appearance and whether I’m still attractive or desirable to my fiancé. I know pregnancy changes your body, but I’m struggling with feeling good about myself.

Is this a normal feeling during pregnancy? Has anyone experienced this, and what helped you get through it?

Pregnancy update🥹🥰

I’m 8 weeks and three days now!! Just had my “pregnancy confirmation “ appointment but to me it was another chance to see just how much bean has grown🩷🥰🥰they said everything looks good with the pregnancy and baby’s heat is beating super strong. Despite the sickening symptoms of hg this is the best thing ever that has happened to me 🙏🏽🩷🩵

Possible pre eclampsia?

Hey, so just wondering if anyone has had anything similar but over the weekend I was in triage for reduced movements (I’m 34+3 weeks) and while I was there I mentioned a few symptoms so they thought I might have cholestasis so they checked my liver and a couple of the results came back quite elevated but not the one for cholestasis so they said that something else is going on with my liver. I had a consultant appointment on Monday and they took a urine sample and found protein in my urine and sent it to the lab and there’s no infection but elevated protein levels. They now want me to go in for repeat testing on Friday but my blood pressure has been okay so I don’t really know what to expect :/
