Hand foot mouth disease
We went to a play group today and there was a child with HFM disease. She had rash on her feet hand and mouth.
Im slightly worried now because we sat very close proximity to her and we will be going away to Greece in couple of days.
Does anyone know how quick symptoms can show up and what i need to take with me if symptoms show up?

Hfmd is a virus. You can be in contact and not catch it. My daughter had it last week and she is the only one that got sick in our family. It takes up to a week for symptoms to show if your kid caught it. You can also get it from touching something that someone with hfm touched before. So you can catch it anywhere, anytime.
Why would they bring a sick kid to group? And why would you sit near a kid covered in sores?
