I’ve had 4 miscarriages this past year and have a 2.5 year old already. The nhs referal appt isn’t until end of Sept and i’ve been waiting since Feb. I’ve had basic bloodwork including clotting disorder test and scans with no red flags. Does anyone have experience of what the clinic actually tests for and if they test for anything else such as immune related/ nk cells etc. I feel like i will have to go to a private fertility clinic because so far all i have been told is to try again and its common but 4 is not just bad luck now. I took progesterone privately with my last pregnancy as i read it could help but it didn’t work for me. I’m grateful i have a child but sad the age gap between my first and a potential sibling is getting bigger and bigger and may not happen at all.

I had 6 losses and a stillborn and still on waiting list but I have kids if u have kids your not high priority in there eyes

I've had 5 miscarriages over the last 5 years, no living children. I've never been given answers, every test I've had is normal. We had the same investigations under the NHS ie clotting, hormone panel, thyroid etc. We then had to go privately for the NK, immune and lining tests, as it wasn't provided locally for us by our NHS trust. It cost us over a grand but again everything was fine. We've then undergone a round of IVF, as we were told that was the only next step for us, and touch wood currently 23 weeks pregnant.

This was me last year!!! My son was 2 and I had 4 miscarriages. All my blood work etc normal! I went private to get further testing and again no further red flags for me OR my partner.
I eventually fell pregnant on the 5th try. I took 75mg of aspirin from 3DPO and got acupuncture done (fertility version) and baby stuck that time! I also stopped caring this month ironically, only used my body to base ovulation and didn’t test, stress defo didn’t help us x
Sending you love as it’s so so hard ❤️

NHS r a joke tbh I got a appointment in Aug for recurrent miscarriage clinic but it’s a 15 min appointment so I think it a joke because there not enough time
I been neglected by nhs I had a d&c I ended up bleeding to the point I passed out on my dads toilet there refused to see me I got a bad infection and still wouldent help I nearly died and it been nearly 2 years and not be able to get pregnant since

It’s a joke the nhs just leave u like your nothing but because we have kids we not in tilted to ivf or iui x
Thanks for your responses! I’m so sorry you’ve all had these negative experiences and i hope everything works out for you. I know the initial nhs appt is such a waste of time. They can have information about us from the GP, we should go straight to testing. I’m worried the only option is IVF which is expensive. I wish we could just get clear answers as to why this keeps happening. I know age plays a huge role (35 now) and possibly have poor egg quality
