Jabs

My baby is due her first set of jabs on Wednesday and it’ll be 38°c in my area. Should I reschedule as I feel she’ll already be uncomfortable in the heat let alone with jabs too

My boy had his this morning, it was about 25/26 degrees already at 11am but they had cooled down the surgery and luckily I only live a 5 min drive from the doctors so got him back in an air conned car and back into the house which I kept cool all this morning. Gave him calpol as soon as we got in about 11:30 and his temperature has been fine since

Telling people ur pregnant

I don’t really know how to feel tbh I just told my mum that I’m pregnant and she said that Iv ruined her whole week and that’s she’s not happy for me and that she feels bad for my son ,I don’t see why she feels bad for my son he has everything he wants and more he’s the happiest toddler ever and I think he will love having a sibling so he’s always got someone to play with

Rockit

Does anyone recommend a rockit or a similar brand? Are they worth it? Does it make a difference to your LOs naps?

Has anyone tried the diaper bags that turn into a makeshift bassinet?

I've been seeing these types of diaper bags that expand out to become a makeshift bassinet for the baby. Has anyone tried one? Is it worth it?

Jabs in this heat?

Baby is due her final set of jabs tomorrow morning, but I'm wondering whether to postpone them to next week because of the heat. I think they're less likely to have a fever with the final lot. Anyone else in this situation? It's a half hour walk to the GP as well as I don't drive 😭

Would you feel guilty?

I always took my daughters to get their haircut twice a year ever since they were 2 years old but now that they’re older (7 & 6yo) I thought let me try cutting it myself at home for them and also money is tight so it made sense. It didn’t turn out as best as I thought it would.. like I accidentally cut the older one’s hair way too short and she got a little upset. I did feel bad but I also feel like it’s just hair, it will grow back soon enough. Also it doesn’t look bad at all though, she just didn’t want it that short. Would you feel guilty or try to give yourself some grace?

Is anyone’s baby sleeping through the night yet?

My son is 2 months old. He’s still waking up 2-3 times a night to eat. At what point did your baby go down to one night feed or start sleeping through the night? I have to go back to work in a month and I’m worried. I’m not sleeping well between feeds and pumping.
