Colic/tongue tie

Bubba is 7 weeks and I've been told he has possible tongue tie but holds alot of tension in his jaw. We're trying exercise currently to loosen him jar but I think his taking in air when feeding and its causing so many problems with wind. Any advice would be great x

Have they referred you to the local feeding team to discuss releasing his tongue tie?

So no one really wanted to knowledge my concerns with it so I paid privately for a lactation midwife who also does tongue tie. She didn't want to rush into anything and his very tight in his jaw so wanted me to try and relax it first before coming back to to re check the tongue tie. But were really struggling with wind and crying for hours and im unable to lie him down x

I think thats why they keep ignoring me as he is putting on weight and thats all they care about. But Im just wondering what to do for the best.

Ive paid £200 for the lactation midwife and then £70 today for a cranial osteopath who does agree that theres alot of tension, but im wondering if the tension is worse then the tongue tie.

I honestly can't put him down and he only sleeps on me chest.

Yesterday he scream after his feed at 7 till 11 xx

Baby doesn't want to be held but also won't self-soothe?

Alright, I need advice for my 6 month old. What do we do when our babies give all the sleepy ques and yet when you try to get them down for a nap nothing works?

I do a naptime song every time we are getting ready for a nap, nurse (which sometimes gets them to sleep), but when I put them down to sleep they start fussing, when I try rocking no matter what way I hold them is correct, I try just laying with them and this doesn't help either cause they just start crying.

I know they are trying to crawl right now and that makes sleep and naps super funky. I don't want to cry it out either. But omg this drives me bonkers and gets me sooo frustrated cause like idk how to help you go to sleep!😵‍💫🫠

Last question! Did anyone get Whooping cough and RSV jab on the same day?

I had to make an appointment today for both my Whopping Cough and RSV jab as I am told I am "behind" in these. So I have an appointment Thursday to have both done at the same time, has anyone else done this? I had a whooping cough jab last pregnancy, but not RSV.

Getting a haircut when exclusively breastfeeding

So I'm a new Mum and I am DESPERATE for a haircut. I was meant to get one before my baby was born but baby decided to make an early appearance. My hair is now 2 months overdue for a cut and it really shows 😭 I've been struggling with my appearance since having a baby and I feel anxious about going out. Does anyone have any tips on how to handle a hair appointment with a baby and breastfeeding?
