Hiring a maid?

Hi guys so I’ll just be quick. I spend a lot of my time cleaning the house, doing laundry, making fresh dinner every day. But I feel like it takes up my time with my 9 month old daughter and growing up with her and even by the time I do get the time I get too tired to even do anything but I still try my best even though I’m burnt out.

My partner works over an hour n a half one way commute and leaves at 7 in the morning and doesn’t get home until about 9pm ish because his job is commission based on customers so he has no choice but to physically be there. By the time he gets home he’s exhausted too.

What do you all think I could do in this circumstance where I want my daughter to feel like she has her parents. I do also try to go out everyday or even 5 days a week I’m out with her but I don’t really get active with her like I don’t take her out the buggy and etc. she can’t walk or crawl yet but I feel guilty not playing with her and walk practicing with her. But I need my coffee and my chill times outside too 😅

I’ve been contemplating to hire a maid as they don’t cost more than 15/hr and I can focus on my daughter the whole time. My apartment is quite quick to clean it usually only takes me an hour n a half (this not including the laundry) If I have someone watching my baby for me. Or do I hire a babysitter for the time being and clean my house how id like to and finish that off and then be able to focus on my daughter afterwards? Or is there any other alternative. Family are pretty useless or tend to throw it back at my face for even doing the smallest thing like getting a glass of water.

I think if it’s between a cleaner or a babysitter, the cleaner sounds like it would be cheaper and then that’s time you could spend with your daughter instead of cleaning yourself.
