Reflux
Does anyone else’s baby suffer from reflux? We have been give omeprazole and gaviscon sachets but baby is still up screaming all night and wants to be held even though they’re still crying all the time and being sick everywhere. We are so tired and I’m at a loss. I don’t know what else I can do

Do they have any other symptoms? My boy has CMPA and reflux like his older sister. His other sister also had reflux. If the medication isn’t working you need to push with the GP. With my first I was in tears constantly with the GP cause I wasn’t coping. Turns out she had CMPA.
So sorry you’re going through this. My little one was very similar, she was bringing up every bottle, constantly hungry, losing weight, and would only sleep if i was holding her in my arms or she was snuggled to my side so we ended up co-sleeping.
Our GP prescribed Gaviscon and later diagnosed CMPA after she developed rashes. She was started on Nutramigen which she hated at first, but after a few days she adjusted and improved. She stayed on Gaviscon for around 5 months and we’ve now weaned her off since starting solids with her reflux mostly gone.
She’s 8 months old now and thriving, however she still hogs the bed and refuses to transition to her cot lol… It was an incredibly difficult time for us as well and I had many tears and breakdowns because I felt helpless watching her struggle. Thankfully, our GP was brilliant and finding the right formula made such a difference.
