thoughts on the depo contraceptive injection?

I had it when I was younger. I hadn’t heard of much things about BC at that time like now. Least of the evils like you said maybe. I will say I never had hair loss from it like it says you may experience.

Made not just my hair, but also my eyelashes and eyebrows fall out🥲

Had one shot and never again . Any other form of birth control is better . Heavy bleeding and cramping to the point I couldn’t stand . Clots the size of my fist. Literally. Had emergency obgyn appts basically till it was out of my system . Also I read something about them being linked to brain tumors .

I had it for a year, almost 2.I didn't have any issues! I didn't have a period though, but other than that I had absolutely no issues! No weird side effects.

I’m getting a copper IUD

I had it and bled for 7 months straight. The doctor kept saying “give it time” and ended up giving me a pill to stop the bleeding. I started bleeding again two days later. Never again.

I took only one shot. I bled the entire 3 months. I never got another one.

Emotionally not good
