Not sure how to respond
So my sister has told me her partner called her his exs name, putting it in to context they were playing video games for the 1st time (it was something he did with his ex) and she said said something and he replied in a manner of annoyance and said his exs name. My sister has asked me how I would feel. Hpw would you feel?

What was his reaction afterwards? How long have they been broken up? I wouldn’t be annoyed but I would find it a bit weird as it’s been years.
How long was he with the ex for? It sounds a bit like it came out as a knee jerk reaction potentially from him being used to getting frustrated with his ex while playing video games. I dont think id he pissed but I also wouldn't be unbothered. It wasnt something good that resulted in the name mix up but something negative so I would probably believe genuine mistake and nothing more to it but it still isn't nice
He is genuinely a lovely person and he feels extremely guilty. He thought my sister was going to break up with him for it. I tbh told her to get over it as they have a family and it was a genuine mistake and he instantly regretted it and explained the situation to her.
