Nicu day 10

Today marks 10 days in the nicu for my sweet girl.. she was born at 32 weeks and 4 days with no explanation as to why. She is now off of oxygen and IVs, next to successfully regulate her temperature and come out of the isolette 🤞

You've got this mamma. It's not an easy experience and you're stronger than you know. What reassuring news to have her off oxygen etc. Our lil preemies are such special fighters💙 I had my son at 28 weeks and he spent 59 days in the NICU - due to unexplained bleeding. It's the best place for them to be🫂

We spent 46 days after abruption @ 33weeks. Now the little dudes 18mths, sitting next to me on the couch drinking milk and feeding himself a rice cake like he’s grown up😂

It’s a rollercoaster of a hard journey but it’s worth it 🫶🏻

Lean on every resource they offer while you have it available, learn everything you can from the nurses willing to teach, ask all the questions and don’t forget to take care of yourself still. 💕

i’ll start i was 39w + 6 with my son had a unmedicated natural water birth, with my second i was 40w + 5 days and also unmedicated.

8 weeks and tests getting lighter

Hi im currently 8 weeks pregnant and ive noticed that my tests are becoming lighter, I know your going to tell me i shouldn't be testing 🙃 but ive had 4 missed misscarriges in the last couple of years so my anxiety is high! I had a scan at 6+3 with a heartbeat and a crl of 7mm. I just dont understand why the tests are becoming lighter. Its not the hook affect because ive tried to dilute and it becomes even lighter, I have noticed the tests are darker with 3rd wee of the day rather than fmu. Has anyone else experienced this and everything turned out to be okay? I cant help to feel this is going to turn into another missed miscarriage.

Would you let your six year old go to a pool party?

My daughter’s swim class offers pool parties with a lifeguard included and parents are (of course) going to be required to stay. With all that said, would you let your child attend or do you think a pool party is more for older children?

Im having an elective c section in 6 days and Im absolutely terrified!

I have chosen to have an elective c section due to having a lot more control over the situation and other factors but now I’m really panicking! Theres only two ways to get her out and they both seem terrible to me 😂. I haven’t ever had any surgery and i even put off going to the dentist or getting blood tests due to my fears.

Im not even sure what I’m looking for here but hopefully hearing some of your guys experiences might help ❤️
