Please don’t think I’m crazy

Not technically a poll but I need answers and this is the biggest group. My friend and I are debating back and forth about our babies’ ages. My daughter was born January 12th. Today is exactly 24 weeks. Which would be the equivalent to 6 months. But she said no. June 12th is 5 months. January 12th to June 12th. Her baby was born May 28th. She said she’s a month old yesterday. I said no.. she’s a month and 4 days old. Now I feel like we don’t even know how old our fricken kids are lmfao. Someone explain how they do this?

She’s always trying to throw shade at me by calling me a big back but I laugh bc if all you can do is try to make fun of my appearance while I’m 12 months postpartum, than I’m winning. She can’t say I’m a bad mom but I sure as shit can scream that about her at the top of my lungs. She is bipolar, always high, speeds with her 4 children in the car, doesn’t bathe them, according to my SD she cannot cook, has her kids failing and missing school and is a terrible person. But sure I’ll be a big back while she walks around looking like a 12 year old boy and the aliens from men in black.

So tired of seeing the subs and being the bigger person to keep my mouth shut.

10 month health visitor review

Anyone else feel deflated after their 10 month review? I came out my appointment sobbing, they make you feel like you’re a terrible mum.
My little boy is measuring overweight for his age he is a big boy I knew that was going to be mentioned, however she then proceeds to tell me to water his formula down so he doesn’t like it so we can cut down how much he is having 😳 he does have meals and snacks throughout the day but loves his milk! Also he wasn’t babbling as much in the appointment and she mentioned he has a speech and language delay and could be autistic 🙄 by the end of the appointment she retracted what she said as he started shouting “dadadada”. She also told me to take his dummy away from him at night time as this will be affect his speech but this is the only time he has it and he doesn’t speak when he’s asleep 🙄😂 how can they “know” all this at 10.5 months old. All babies develop in their own time. I’m now worried. Has anyone else had a similar experience? ☹️

Dummy or no Dummy

I’m considering a dummy to help my 6 week old sleep through the night. He currently wakes 3-4 times in the night (not always for a feed as can be 1 hour post feed). I’m interested in other people’s experience with a dummy and whether it helped their little ones sleep through the night. I’ve heard good things but also worry if it’ll cause more wake ups if it falls out and he wants it back and needs us to put it back.

Would welcome any advice on dummy usage and/or sleeping for longer stretches

8 week immunisations

My baby has his 8 week immunisations tomorrow, we have the calpol at the ready and a free afternoon for plenty of cuddles. Any other advice would be truly appreciated.

What would you do?

What would you do if your toddler (2.8) was having a huge tantrum and kicking and screaming over getting their nappy changed and you had already tried the gentle approach? I spent ages before being calm and in the end I had to just put it on him regardless of crying and hold him down a little. Am I in the wrong for this because according to my mum, this is not ok 😬😂 and if not, I would love to know what the right thing to do is here….

Husband has mental health, is his behaviour acceptable?

So my husband has mental health issues. He says it’s because of the pain he is going through ( had a small accident, but not something that should affect his whole body!). He hit his head.. mri came back fine. But he had a panic attack, and life changed since.

He doesn’t live with us anymore, saying the kids are stress, and we were living at my parents, and my dad has copd so he is scared something will happen to him.

He also avoids talking to me about normal life things, like deciding on children schools, or anything really.

Sometimes he ignores me, saying I am making his mental health worse ( I was asking whether it’s okay to delay his sicknote by a week to his employer ( he’s been off work for time).

He just randomly walks off leaving me and the kids alone

We met him today, and he had a hospital appt. When leaving, he didn’t even say good bye to our child or me, he just walked off saying he has an appt).

Then he gets gifts for the kids, and does show he cares. So I’m really confused.

I don’t know what to do. Just so overwhelming. I don’t know if this is normal?
