Steroid creams

Any stories or experiences regarding using steroids creams for eczema on babies? Please be sincere and honest. Have they worked for you? I have a 3yo but now have also a 4mo bay struggling with eczema. I’m so scared about using creams as I know eczema keeps coming back as soon as you sto the steroid creams. What would you do ??

My boy needed it when he was only a few months old. We used it for 5 days if I remember rightly. He still gets signs of eczema but hasnt had anything as bad that one since and we have kept it at bay with moisturisers.

Hi, I don’t like applying steroids on my toddler either. I use dermol 500 in bath then hydromol ointment straight after and whenever he’s itching. Did not get rid of the eczema, but it’s much better then it used to be.
