might be a stupid question

so if your low risk and no talk about how you’re going to give birth is that your ob’s way of assuming you don’t need to get induced/are gonna give vaginal delivery? i see so many people talking about how they have planned inductions already and there’s been no talk about that for me so im assuming they’re gonna try to see if i go full term? if it were up to me i’d want to go full term with an epidural vaginally but i hope they don’t change anything on me. maybe im thinking too soon but i’ve been hearing about it from september mamas having planned inductions already. i am only 30 weeks tbf due right in middle of september.

Low risk you usually go with the have the baby when they are ready to get here if you want some type of structure about your labor you can create a birth plan and talk to your dr about everything on you can put who you want in the room with you, pain management, if you have any refusal to any newborn shots, if you want delayed cord clamping all that stuff and you and your dr will be more prepared on what you want for your labor hope this helps!

You are in charge of how you give birth unless they have good medical reason to advise you for an induction or surgical intervention. Tell them what you want and then ask them if they have any concerns on that based on the info they have now.

I'm 30 almost 31 weeks also due in September and my OB hasn't mentioned induction either. This is my first baby so it hasn't even occurred to me to bring it up either. My plan is a vaginal delivery with an epidural and I haven't been told that isn't an option.
