Hi everyone!

Me and my partner have suffered a miscarriage on Sunday (I was just shy of 7 1/2 weeks)

Trying again? How long would I have to wait to try again, my logic is to try once I’ve had a period (which I’ve bled as part of the miscarriage so will that class as a cycle?) but my partner wants to jump straight into it!

Support? I feel like everyone disappears when you say you’ve had a miscarriage!

Partner and me arguing? It’s like we have a very short fuse! It’s crazy the amount of arguments we have!

Any advice would be helpful thank you x

With our first miscarriage, we waited two cycles because I didn’t feel ready, but this time we’ve jumped straight in as it was a missed miscarriage (was told it was fine to try as soon as I wanted) and I’ve been tracking my ovulation.

But it’s whenever you’re both ready💕

As for the arguments, with our first loss, me and my partner snapped at each other all the time because neither of us knew how to deal with it, I guess, but it’s important to remember you’re on the same side and to communicate with each other, even with simple things, like I personally need a lot of physical touch to help me feel better whereas my partner doesn’t, so I got better at asking for a cuddle, etc.

Have you been given the contact details for the therapy from your team? I know where I am, you get so many free counselling sessions following a loss. But you’re right, people do tend to disappear once they’ve said they’re sorry. The Tommys website has a lot of guidance

Hey Abbie I’m so sorry to hear that I hope your feeling ok. I waited to have another period so like a full cycle and just really went hard on taking supplements and trying to rest and get ready and now I’m 6dpo (dr said to wait one cycle to give my body time to recover) I hope you get your rainbow baby xx

Baby movements are overwhelming

I want to start by saying I am so grateful my baby is healthy and developing as she should be but she is moving and wiggling CONSTANTLY.

I mean more or less all day every day from the moment I wake up to when I go to sleep kicks and rolls. It is so lovely to feel but at the same time I’m finding it so overwhelming. I’m 30 weeks so have 10 weeks to go (at least!) and I feel I’m just wishing away the time because it is so over stimulating 🫠

Hoping someone can relate and I’m not a horrible witch for getting upset over a healthy happy baby 😭

Family’s party

So we have been invited to a family party but it starts at 7:30pm. My little one will be 10 months. They want him to be there but that’s way past his bedtime. I would like to take him but I don’t want to ruin the routine we have. What would you suggest??

Birthday

Today is my birthday. I don't really have many friends or any family here in this state, except my kids & boyfriend. We can't afford to do anything for my birthday, except a cake. So, I was wondering if I could get some birthday cheers on here...... please 🙏
