Tips for first time in town with newborn
My baby's 4 weeks old and I've been really nervous going out with her on my own but also know that I need to get out for my own sanity! Does anyone have any advice for good nappy changing spots or breastfeeding friendly places in Chelmsford for a nervous first time mum? TIA! X

My friend told me to know ‘safe places’ where if in need to take baby somewhere I knew where to go - John Lewis have great baby changing on the ground and top floor, and also have a feeding room on the top floor too. High Chelmer also has a feeding room, and a good changing space. M&S also has nice facilities! If you’re worried about getting out, have you also tried some baby classes or groups? Rhyme time at the library is lovely, and they do new parent sessions from 0-12 months on a Wednesday and Friday at 3pm. Nobody bats an eyelid if a baby gets upset.
(Also you’re braver than me, I took 11 weeks to leave the house by myself!) xx
