Meal ideas

Hi everyone! My girls are loving trying new foods and I try to mix it up daily. They basically tried every vegetable shops have to offer 😅 we tried beef, chicken and chickpeas. All is cooked with no added salt or any seasoning, though I did add cinnamon to their breakfast pancakes.

Some meals I’ve done;

They have a morning breakfast (porridge/ toast/ yogurt/ fruits, everyday we try something different mix up the flavours so they can have a taste) they have a snack (this is usually a frozen fruit of some sort to help with teething) then they have and evening meal (again we try something different everyday, yesterday they tried meatballs ((beef, carrot, egg, and broccoli, mixed into balls and cooked in oven)) with mash potatoes and roasted aubergine on the side)

They had chicken pasta: pureed carrot and courgette with one laughing cow cheese and chicken, with cooked pasta.

Cottage pie: beef fried on olive oil with steamed carrot and mushed peas with mash on top.

Toast with peanut butter, laughing cow, butter, humus, banana.

Spinach and mushrooms pureed into an omelette.

Broccoli, sweet potato, carrots and cheddar cheese tots.

I’ve got to a point where I’m struggling to think of things to give them… anyone has any ideas of things they’ve tried? Let me know ☺️

I try to make their meals adaptable for adults too so the dinner times are less stressful. I have twins so any advice would be greatly appreciated ❤️

Sounds like you are doing amazing. I havent gotten very creative this time yet but with my 1st we did weetabix muffins with fruit through them, omlette cups/muffins with different veggies and/or cheese. We also did sweet potato, red kidney beans and nutmeg as a mash or as a falafel type thing. Those were all winners for me. Those were all things I could make in bulk and even freeze.
