Taking baby swimming

First time mum here, baby almost 14 weeks old and I’ve always wanted to take him swimming. Is it worth doing swimming classes or can I just take him to a kid friendly pool myself. I like the idea of baby swimming lessons but I can’t find any oneoff ones they all seem to be paying full term time. I really think he would benefit from it and love it, not sure what the best age is to take them

Don't worry about swimming lessons unless you want baby to do swimming lessons.

Just go to any pool, doesn't need to be child friendly. Just somewhere that has baby changing tables to make life easy haha.

My youngest is 12 weeks and I took him and my eldest both at about 7 or 8 weeks. We've just got back from swimming this morning.

If the water is a little on the cooler side just make sure baby spends plenty of time against your chest (front or back, doesn't matter) to help keep them warm in-between looking around and doing floating and whatnot.

Enjoy it ❤️❤️ xxx
