to the mamas who got their glucose test done already or remember from a previous pregnancy, how long did your results take to come back? i’m impatient and trying to see how long this could take. i’ve never waited for than 24hr for any results but here i am 5hr post bloodwork and so impatient. most the time i get results same day but idk

Hi, I had my glucose test this past Friday morning at 11:30 (I think ) and I got my results Friday night at 9pm!!!

Well mine was done in the hospital and i failed lol then I failed the three hour. And when I stuck to hospital diet they saw that it was a false failure 🤣 so stand up for yourself I swear we know our bodies better than those tests just fyi

Hi there, I just had mine done last week in the afternoon and got my results back later that night! I failed with ky first so I’m highly grateful I passed this time and escaped the 3hr test 😵‍💫🙏🏻

I got mine the next day and I failed so I'm going for my 3 hour glucose test on Friday. Hopefully I pass this time!

i failed both of my tests. i got the results the next day over. i have to take metformin 2 times a day and monitor my blood sugar. i’m working on getting the wireless monitor.

I had my test at 9am (blood drawn at 10am) and got my results later that evening. Usually results come in the same day or the following day if your labs were drawn later in the day.

I did mine like 2 weeks ago on a Friday an I got it that night

Pregnant Again...

I just found out I'm pregnant, but I'm only 7 months postpartum. Freaking out a bit but also a little bit excited as it took us so long to get pregnant the first time. I'm worried about the small age gap and how my little boy will cope. Has anyone else been through this?

‘failed’ GD test

I had my GD test last Monday, and found out Wednesday I’d failed. Fasting was fine, but 2hr was 8.3

First few days all my finger pricks were fine, and well within range, sitting closer to lower limits than upper.
But since yesterday breakfast every reading has been high, and I can’t make any sense of it. This morning is the first fasting reading that is high.
I’m basically eating the same food or a variation of.

I’m aware I’m not even a week in, but I feel like it’s knocked all my confidence with pregnancy.
I was anxious/nervous for the health of little one as it was, and this just feels like an uncontrollable/unpredictable whirlwind 🤯

Didn’t feel like there much help/support from the hospital when they diagnosed, literally given a glucose monitor and sent on my way, was there for less than 5 minutes and waiting for a follow up appt for a growth scan and to see a consultant, with no time frame given for it.
Locally the only maternity contact given is triage, and it doesn’t feel like the sort of thing to be contacting them with.

First baby after trying for 18 months

Heya, just wondering if it took anyone else a while to get pregnant? This is my first pregnancy so I don't know what to expect. I am so excited and want to tell everyone but also apprehensive to wait until the 12 weeks. I'm redundant ATM and meant to be starting my teacher training course in September. Just hoping they still let me do it. 😞

Anxiety for lack of movement today

This will be my 3rd baby, since about 14 weeks ive been very fortunate to have the feeling of bubbles in my belly, im now almost 17 weeks, since the weeks have gone on ive had constant very noticeable movements of the baby with each week being more obvious, been so fortunate.
Today ive not noticed any, I have a very big history or loss, 9 miscarriages I total, one being a missed miscarriage at 3months last year, so lack of movements today is driving me to think the worst. I have my appointment with my midwife on Friday so will hear the heartbeat for the first time then (all being well) but i have no phone number for my midwife or anything? The badger app doesnt give any numbers or message options either. I know babys dont always move when you want, but im just scared especially after finally announcing to family/friends and being so excited after so much loss.
