Lazy mom life hack?

I only let my kids eat popcorn in the backyard because of the mess they make. The crows come and clean up all the popcorn they drop (like 4 crows). Because crows come everyday to check for food I have not seen any rodents in my yard like we have previous years. No signs of digging. Nothing. Free pest control.

Do let me know if you're a crow expert and this is dangerous. Doing this also keeps the crows out of our garbage cans (yes they can and do get in).
