Yes. They’re not perfect and do things occasionally that get on my nerves. But I do love them and feel lucky to have them. They’re great with my kids too. My BIL is moving 3 minutes away from us and I’m excited about it.

At most yes but they can be annoying a couple of weeks ago I was telling my daughter off and grandad told her to stomp her feet - got me pissy as partner didn’t tell him not to!

For the most part yes, all I wish is that my mil would just try to make more of an effort to see her grandkids.

Mil passed before me fil is mia even with husband but sils im good with

We don't talk to my father in law anymore which is sad but it is what it is and I clash with my mother in law ALOT as we don't see eye to ey on some things x

Unfortunately not even a little bit. MIL/FIL have been creepy and abusive and everyone just accepts it as normal. "Thats how they are" "ignore them" "that didnt happen" etc.

My relationship with my in laws is determined by my own partners relationship with them. So if my partner gets along with them, then I get along with them. lol if he doesn’t speak to them then I don’t speak to them. Also my in laws divorced within the 1st yr of my Husbands life, so the dynamics between him and his family has always been weird. It’s amazing how much a divorce can impact a family even many years after or even when it happens when a kid is verry small and barely able to remember.

I get along very well with a few of my husbands aunts & uncles.
But I find his mum and step dad extremely difficult, especially recently!
