CMPA / Silent Reflux

Hi all! Needing some advice/ help!

My baby is 7 weeks old, she has always been quite a fussy/ uncomfortable baby. We got her tongue tie cut as her weighed gain was quite slow and that didn’t resolve the weight issue, then her stools went wild explosive and really smelly and we suspected CMPA so I have been dairy free and we have her on Aptamil Pepti (I mainly BF but give a few bottles of formula a day to help weight gain). She also always sounds congested. The main issue we’ve had is the silent reflux, she cries all the time, will cry when we are feeding her trying to burp her she will arch her back or be almost grabbing her throat in discomfort.

We got given gaviscon but she seemed to be worse trying to pass gas so we stopped it. What have others with CMPA put their child on formula wise and has omeprazole helped?

Should I be as concerned as I am?

My daughter has her 1 yr doctor's appointment on the 11th and I wanna ask her pediatrician about it but she's entering the toddler stage so I'm not sure if it's normal. But we've caught her bitting her hands and arms when she's upset. She also pinches others including herself. Is this normal behavior for a toddler? Two of my brothers have autism and this was a huge sign for them as they reached elementary school so I'm not sure if it's the same thing. Eventually I also want to get her tested for ADHD (my brothers also have this and so does her dad - no longer in the picture btw) her father also has schizophrenia which I didn't find out until recently. What is the appropriate age to get her tested? I'm a ftm so idk what to do or think. On top of this I want to get her legs checked out because of the way they are when she's walking. Will they straighten out on their own? Is this normal for babies? Is this something worth asking her pediatrician about? HV due when I need to put toddler to bed.

Shall I leave a note on the door? Try and hold toddlers nap out? The HV appointment is for my new baby due in 2 months and not my toddler.

I am having the home appointment alone as my partner is working away.

Pram recommendations?

I’m starting to look at travel systems and really love the Silver Cross ones, but they’re so expensive. I’m happy to invest in a good pram if it’s worth it, but I’ve seen a lot of people say they can be quite heavy and that they ended up switching to a cheaper lightweight buggy later on.

Can anyone recommend a pram that’s great from newborn onwards? Thank you in advance ☺️

My son won’t walk with me.

He is 2.5 years and I have to carry him everywhere to get anywhere since he doesn’t listen. If I put him on the ground and hold his hand he will either squirm out of it and run or throw himself on the ground and go limp. He doesn’t come or stay close when I call. He immediately bolts and expects me to follow him. I don’t believe in hitting or yelling. I do stern talk for danger and tried giving him one of two options. None of the other kids his age are this way. They listen to their parents and stay close. What do I do?

Breastfeeding toddler

I'm still breastfeeding my son who will be two in a few months.

It still feels completely natural and is mainly a way that he settles himself but I am thinking of gently weaning at some point soon.

I am more aware of other people's opinions about it now he's a bit older, despite this being completely normal in a lot of places and the World Health Organization still recommending brrastfeeding up to two years of age or beyond.
