The baby is fine! During pregnancy I had sooooo much stress ( lack of sleep, rhinitis, baby's dad was difficult, my dog passed away) and my baby is healthy and happy. He was born at 38 weeks,an emergency c section. Don't think too much! Get rest, eat well and drink water! 🤗

I didn’t have the best experience during pregnancy and I had the exact same worry but the baby will be okay! My son is 10 months old and is the most happiest boy. Best thing you can do is remind yourself that you’re doing the most mental challenging experience rn which is carrying a baby

Don’t worry mama, now you be stressing about stressing 🫠

Try to share your stress with someone you trust. Sharing what is worrying you is the best way to reduce stress. Also take a walk, do some self care, eat a favourite food and take deep breaths. Healthy babies are born everyday and you can only try your best to give your baby a safe home

i was stressed and anxious to the point that my midwife asked if I wanted to go on medication throughout pregnancy and even the birth was traumatic but my baby is here now and she’s happy and healthy!

Lots of people will tell you that sort of thing. I don’t think it’s true. I think the only thing that affects baby is the love you show it however stressed you are. And that doesn’t mean you have to be perfect all the time. I know plenty of people who felt stress in their pregnancies and they all had content and happy babies. So try not to stress about that, but do pay attention to what causes you stress and share with people you trust, family, friends. If your baby’s daddy is the main cause that is really important you have other people around you and important to share what’s happening so they can support you

Why haven't you left your baby daddy? There are studies that say your kid will have anxiety in later life. But I'm sure that can be turned around, by stopping the stress now. I really wouldn't worry about it, if you plan to make a change

That’s so true about the safe home, and a safe home means it’s safe for mumma too. It’s impossible to know what type of stress you’re talking about or the nature of the behaviours you could be taking about. If it’s leading to the level of stress that you’re concerned about it affecting your baby it could be important to get help especially if you’re experiencing coercive and controlling behaviour, which is common but not talked about often enough or understood. There’s a infographic I think called wheel of control. People (and its most often women) who experience this often blame themselves, and their partners often distance/isolate them from family and friends which reduces support.

If this might be the case it’s I mportant to get speak to people who can help and support you, and not feel shame or responsibility ♥️ this may not be the situation for you, just saying this in case it is. From what you said it was impossible to tell.

Getting called “big , massive & huge”

Hello lovlies , my best friend has been calling me massive since about week 17 and it’s not bothered me as it’s been to me but on Saturday we were at her engagement party and afew of her friends came up to me saying “ wow your not as big as I thought “ . I asked my friend if she was telling them I’m big and she said “ yeh Ahhaha I’m like Beth’s huge , I think you are “
She then followed by saying “I tell everyone your big lol “ I’ve been feeling very self conscious as I’ve already gained 3 stone and I do feel big and ugly and not like myself at all .
Has anyone else experienced this and found it hurtful or am I being sensitive?
Photo of me from her party on Saturday it’s my first pregnancy also if that makes a difference xx

How are we all feeling rn

I'm pregnant with baby no.2, my first turns 2 in September and I'm due with no.2 on October 10th. I'm at the point where I'd genuinely rather go through labour back to back 20 times over than do this last stretch of pregnancy 😭😂 anyone else feeling this way??

Possible irritable uterus and pre term labor at 33 weeks

Does anyone is suffering from this ?

I went to the hospital as I felt a stronger pain than usual. I have been dealing with a lot of braxton hicks (a lot) which are uncomfortable not painful and cramps. I have been talking with midwifes which all they say it's normal to keep doing my tasks etc. But I have a toddler and I think it was too much what I was doing. Because now after going to triage they kept me for 24hrs did CTGs to monitor baby, we do see contractions on the monitor but they are painless most of the time and baby seems happy still.
But I have been kept monitorized for the next days and the pre term labor tests they did all seem fine and they told me for 7 days birth is unlikely.
After this I have been feeling quite down emotional and just want to cry. But I am hopeful and I know if it needs to be born it will be alright.
Anyone in the same or similar situation ?
