I didn’t have any stomach hardening until I got a membrane sweep with my first born at 39 weeks. I’m currently 36 weeks as of tomorrow with my second and have been having what I believe is Braxton hicks. Lots of stomach hardening/tightening and it’s happening more everyday.
Do you guys think this is a sign I’ll go into pre-term labor or is this common with your second baby to have them for weeks before your due date?

The same has been happening to me very very often but I seem to be getting cramping pain like a contraction and I am 36 weeks pregnant

If it’s just tightening with no severe pain that makes it difficult to continue walking, then it’s just Braxton hicks. You could be dehydrated, so drink some water.

I’m 34 weeks and a couple days I have Braxton hicks all the time and they only last about 30 seconds each time but they are happening more frequently after I got a cervical check Friday. I found out I’m 25% effaced no dilation, I only got checked cause I swear I lost my mucus plug but no bloody show, i was told that cramping and blood was normal after. I was also told that my son is low cause when I got checked the doctor had to have me lift up on my fists to feel properly to make sure I’m worried I’ll be having my baby soon
