Hi. I know we are only really early and have a lot of time but is anyone really nervous about telling their managers/team. I'm new to the team and still training. I feel really guilty that I will be leaving them for 9 months.

My sister once found out she was pregnant got a job, took mat pay, then 2 weeks holiday pay after may leave ended then quit. Shed worked there a total of 4 months. I completely disagreed with this btw. But I'm saying it so you don't feel as guilty. You're bringing a human life into this world which should be celebrated. Your management will be fine. You'll go back to work and be an awesome colleague after like you will be up until then

I feel bad, I've been at my job for 6 months, just got out onto a level 5 diploma too. My boss is great but I'm still very very nervous and feel awkward telling work and I likely need to tell them soon because my symptoms, despite WFH, are becoming hard to explain and I've had a drop in my productivity. Whilst no one would notice from management, as my diary and work is my own, it still wouldn't reflect well if there were things that started to slip and affected relationships with clients I do work with directly, if that makes sense. Things taking longer being a major one. I feel I should get ahead of it soon. Especially as I called in sick today and might do tomorrow due to insomnia and exhaustion. It's a tricky one! If I'd be there a year or more, I'd feel a lot less anxious and awkward.
