Should I be panicking yet?!

So I had my LO on June 7th and ummm I still haven’t gotten my period back. My fiancé and I have been intimate (I don’t use birth control due to hormonal migraines and condoms cause me a lot of pain. We do the good ole pull out which we are aware isn’t very effective. For background info we struggled quite a bit to get our LO, so consider us unlucky or lucky depending how you view it) of course my mother has been hounding me if I’m sure I’m not pregnant again (rude🙄). And I’m asking should I be panicking? I find like I should probably just take a test to ease my mind; I do want another baby just not right now. I guess I’m asking has anyone else had the periods return yet?? (And no I didn’t breastfeed)

I’m almost 7 weeks postpartum and I got mine back a few days ago. No need to worry, it can take up to 12 weeks with not breastfeeding.

If I’m remembering correctly, you are very fertile within 2-5 months postpartum

I got my period back immediately even with breastfeeding, but it can take up to a year for your cycle to return to normal postpartum! In any case, just take a pregnancy test if there’s a chance of pregnancy. You’ll find out one way or another lol.

My LO was born June 1st, I strictly formula feed and got my cycle back at week 7. For peace in mind take the test 😭

I got birth control as soon as possible because I have a history of high fertility and I didn't wanna risk having #4 too soon. But if you're exclusively breastfeeding, I've heard that that can also help push off getting your period because the hormones from breastfeeding prevent ovulation. Still not 100% effective but might help explain the late bleeding 😁

I’m pregnant!

Hi all,

Just found out I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant after a C-section 8 months ago. If you couldn’t guess, I am nervous.

The one time we have sex without a condom (a moment of passion by me trying to feel desired again) and I bloody get pregnant! It took 2 years to conceive my first so I wasn’t expecting this at all. Obviously I know that having sex can lead to this😂 it’s just crazy the only time without a condom😭

I think I’m just looking for reassurance from mums who have gotten pregnant before the recommended wait time.

Am I crazy for feeling worried, scared and happy and not happy all at the same time?

Baby number 2!

Morning girlies🥰 I have just found out I’m pregnant again! Very early of course!
My anxiety is through the roof! My first pregnancy wasn’t very nice as I suffered with hypermesis gravidarium for the whole 9 months☹️
I’m really hoping this time will be different but I am so so scared! Anything anyone can say to help calm my nerves😅❤️

Gaining a lot of weight In first trimester

I’m 9 and a bit weeks but I’ve noticed I have gained a lot of weight recently since conceiving. Mainly due to the nausea and sickness I feel like I need to keep eating to feel better. And also I eat mainly carbs whereas my previous diet was always as little carbs as possible as I have pcos and don’t process them very well . I’ve gained 8kgs and I’m really worried and shocked. My midwife didn’t think much of it but I don’t know if this is okay and how I can manage it better. I’ve just been trying to survive, it’s been really tough. Anyone else been through anything similar ?
