Helpppppp

Those with 2 under 3, when does it actually get easier? My first is 2 months from being 3 and my youngest is 9 weeks. We had such a predictable routine with my first, and he’s always been great with his sleep and pretty much everything. I always knew I wasn’t gonna get it as easy with my second because it would be too good to be true, but minus having mega reflux, he is a good baby. In spite of this, I still feel like I’m absolutely drowning most days and often wonder if it genuinely will ever get better or if I’m always going to feel this overwhelmed …

Do you have family that can help, take the older one out... does the older one go to nursery? So it can split the day a bit.
My daughters are 2 years apart and I made sure that grandparents kept the same routine with the oldest and once the baby got to 6 months it did get easier

Nappies

*UPDATE*
I GOT NAPPIESSSS 🥳🥳🥳
So i am really embarrassed with this, but i have run out of nappies and I have now had to use a teatowel to cover my boy up. Unfortunately, his dad won't be back until 8ish but I do not see a way to take him out to the shops to get one, my question really is, What the fuck do i do? Its not like the shop is close by either.

Talker or mover

Has anyone found their baby was either a talker or a mover? My baby is pulling to stand but really not babbling much at 10 months. He’s has in the past but the last couple of weeks he has been so quiet. Wondering if anyone else’s LO stopped being social whilst learning a new motor skill?

Adult children and minor children together

Hello. Does anyone have experience with adult children moving back home when you also have minor children in the house?
And with an adult child needing to share a bedroom with the minor child(ren)?

Resentment

So I have a lot of resentment towards my child’s father and everyone in my life and that’s around me it’s like all the time they have to mention how much my daughter looks like her father, like “she’s his twin”, “they look exactly alike” etc and it’s upsetting and annoying tf out of me.
I know and think she looks like her father too and that’s fine but I feel she looks like me as well and it’s like I’m discredited and disregarded when it comes to my child looking anything like me
I’m constantly hearing and being told that she only looks like him. It’s starting to get to me and I feel like I’m resenting my child too. I don’t wanna look at my child and only see him because everyone’s putting it in my head and making it seem like she only looks like her father and not me.
idk seems pretty, but idk I already feel like I don’t have the best established bond with my daughter after giving birth (which yes takes time) but now with this, I feel like it’s creating more of a disconnect mentally for me.

[ if you’re gonna read this and twist it to some narrative that I don’t love my child unconditionally, that I have some malice and hatred towards my child or I must be mistreating my child and acting differently towards her y’all can keep comments and thoughts to yourself cause you clearly read it how you wanted to read it and on top of that be rude about it ]
and I swear the same women that want to claim they care or support other women for postpartum depression, PPP etc are the first hop down a woman throat and judge to make then feel less of a mother than they already feel they are
And I get not everyone can relate so please just keep your unsympathetic insensitive take on others real life mental struggles to yourself.

Is there a 7/8 week regression?

My little one has just turned 8 weeks and up until last week, it was so easy to settle him and put him to sleep. Now unless he’s in the car or in the body carrier I can’t get him to sleep and when he finally falls asleep and I take him out of the carrier or the car he wakes up instantly. On a nighttime he was sleeping 4 hours, wake for feed and back to sleep after a half an hour, now he’s waking up after 1.5/2 hours and taking 2-3 hours to go back to sleep.

Is there such thing as a regression at this stage or am I doing something wrong?
