I'm British, but my husband is Nigerian. We have a 1 year old son together, Bámidélé, and a queen on the way - due December. Joined the group because maintaining BOTH sides of Bamis identify is very important to me. Other than the obvious - eating 9ja foods, speaking pidgin to him (I'm learning small small!) And singing songs and lullabys in Yoruba - I'd love for Bami to have 9ja community to grow up with. ❤ I'd also love some mama help when it comes to hair and care. Bami's hair is mixed right now, but as for girl hair... I can't even do my own hair and I'd really like to do them proud ❤
