Catholic Mom Friends

Hi there. I’m just wondering, how did anyone make Catholic mom friends? I feel a bit awkward just approaching people at mass, especially since I joined my husband’s parish and not my childhood one.

I had a group before we moved. The first woman I met through Peanut. I had "Catholic" in my bio. I noticed another mom was pregnant at the same time as me, so I approached her. She ended up being extroverted, so she brought more women to the group. We ended up with about 7 of us.
Join groups, volunteer, and go to parish events. It's work, but it's so worth it. Look for a Well Read Moms chapter in your area.
