Why do people name their children after Times and Seasons they werenât even born in? I met a âSummerâ today that was born in the Winter(December). A while back, I met an Autumn that wasnât even born in that season. My cousinâs name is Augusta and she was born in May. Donât get me started on âAprilâsâđ€ŁIs it just because they like the name? Do you or do you know someone that did this? Please share for laughs. What was the name and their story behind itđ€Łâ€ïž

Iâve never met anyone who was actually born in the same month or season as their name. I always thought they were picked because they make pretty names.

I think itâd be weird to name a kid after the month or season they were born in lol a girl I went to school with named her son Mayson because heâs her son born in May. Makes me think her Carson was born in the car đ

We almost named our daughter autumn and she was born in January lol đ we just liked the name. Turns out a member of our church named her baby that was born the August before mine was born so regardless the name is/ wouldâve been âwrongâ đ€Ł I never thought of this perspective

Damn did you at least kiss the brick before you threw it at me đ

I feel like itâs actually more cringy to name them after when they were born. Like itâs too matchy matchy or something, for lack of a better term. (I donât actually care and Iâm not throwing shade at anyone who is named like this)
I mean, my sonâs name is a place name and thereâs no connection to actual places with that name.

I considered naming my daughter tenthirteenammountaintimespring but I thought it was a little long.
