Just for laughsđŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł

Why do people name their children after Times and Seasons they weren’t even born in? I met a ‘Summer’ today that was born in the Winter(December). A while back, I met an Autumn that wasn’t even born in that season. My cousin’s name is Augusta and she was born in May. Don’t get me started on ‘April’sâ€™đŸ€ŁIs it just because they like the name? Do you or do you know someone that did this? Please share for laughs. What was the name and their story behind itđŸ€Łâ€ïž

I’ve never met anyone who was actually born in the same month or season as their name. I always thought they were picked because they make pretty names.

I think it’d be weird to name a kid after the month or season they were born in lol a girl I went to school with named her son Mayson because he’s her son born in May. Makes me think her Carson was born in the car 😂

We almost named our daughter autumn and she was born in January lol 😂 we just liked the name. Turns out a member of our church named her baby that was born the August before mine was born so regardless the name is/ would’ve been “wrong” đŸ€Ł I never thought of this perspective

Damn did you at least kiss the brick before you threw it at me 😂

I feel like it’s actually more cringy to name them after when they were born. Like it’s too matchy matchy or something, for lack of a better term. (I don’t actually care and I’m not throwing shade at anyone who is named like this)

I mean, my son’s name is a place name and there’s no connection to actual places with that name.

I considered naming my daughter tenthirteenammountaintimespring but I thought it was a little long.

Idk the gender đŸ©”đŸ©·

Had my last scan at 20 weeks and not required anymore. However they couldn’t clarify the gender of the baby. Now I feel I need to pay for a private scan to find out gender or is there any way around this? Private scans are so expensive.

midwife app

is everybody’s midwife’s appointments the same?

for me it’s always just been one to one discussing symptoms, mental & physical heath updates and talking about the little things ect.
I never know anything to do with my actual baby until I have scans at the hospital but I see other people say their midwife tells them more in depth details about their baby or even some cervical checks to see progress.
