Please what can I do I've been stuck at 1cm for days now, since yesterday 4pm I've been having contractions didn't sleep all night. I had my bloody show 1am, few hours ago so I am currently in the hospital and I've been admitted. Reason because I've already been booked for induction today by 5pm. But this contractions is still too painful can I ask for pain relief. Surprisingly it this painful and im still at 1cm😢 midwife said we'll wait for labour but if it doesn't come, then they'll carryon with the induction. I'm just scared and confused

Can you get moving? Go for a walk, ask to use a birthing ball, do the mile circuit, have a shower etc... good luck! X

You can have paracetemol? Like Natalie said walking, birth ball, i mean i dont as know you could have sex in hospital (lol), whoever is with you can buy some dates? I ate dried fruit during 1st labour as my partner could drop them in my mouth instead of me fumbling round.
My first labour was long so i did all the calm music etc but in the end i put on a comedian and just laughed and laughed and that made me and my partner happier, i still had my waters popped but i dont know when they can do that i was around 4 5cm then.
Keep active xx

Try to get your oxytocin (happy hormone) flowing as much as poss as that will get labour going. Do things that make you happy e.g. ask your birth partner to give you a massage, watch your fave TV show, see if you can have a bath in the hospital, listen to some music, put some nice scent around your pillow, eat your fave snacks. Also agree with moving if you can, maybe see if you're able to get outside into the hospital grounds for a short walk. These were all things that helped me when I was in early labour. Also try to sleep if you can, it sounds like it's been a tough night for you. Also remember that you can decide not to have the induction later today if you think that will help with your anxiety etc. You've got this!
