Dressing baby at night
I’m so unsure on how to dress him during the night. I just constantly have SIDs on my mind. I didn’t before the heatwave we have had but our flat although it says it’s temp 26/27 in the night I always feel a bit chilly so then I think if I feel cold does he but then don’t want to layer him and then it be too dangerous. He’s currently been sleeping in a short sleeve vest no blanket or sleep sack for like 2 months 😅

My flat is similar temp and we do short sleeve vest with love to dream swaddle arms out, when it’s more 23 we do long sleeve vest and swaddle, when it’s hotter we do nappy and swaddle. On the 35 degrees day we just did a nappy. Hope that helps? X
We live in a new build so it’s been horrific in the heatwaves, he’s been in a short sleeve bodysuit and a cellular blanket, always better for them to wake up being too cold than risking being too hot, I’ll leave him to settle for an hour and then check his neck to see if hes running warm or ok x
We’ve been in just a nappy for months at a similar temp - we co-sleep though so he gets some heat from me x
Putting my daughter in either a vest or just a nappy as we co-sleep x
My girl is 4 months & in her cot amd if i leave her legs without a sleeping bag, she purposely rolls over and shoves them out the bars lol, so my girls been in a nappy & 1 tog sleep sack, my gro egg says 27-28 degrees but the fan rotates around her cot, i check her chest & it always feels normal x
