GORD/GERD Support
Looking for recommendations of who to speak to or where to go for severe reflux support. LB is 8 weeks old, has had severe reflux and lots of trapped wind since 3 weeks old. Can’t sleep because of it, always crying and fussing in pain, never content and always uncomfortable and we have exhausted medication options. Currently on Neocate after trialling Nutramigen for possible CMPA but I’m growing worried nothing will work and that it’s not allergy related, in which case we’ve been told that he’ll just grow out of the reflux.
Can anyone recommend where to go next for support feeding specialists, or other professions? Not sure who might be able to help or give management tips because we can’t last another 2-4 months with this little sleep (him or us!)

Have they tried your baby on reflux medication at the side of cmpa milk.My little one was the same so we trialled gaviscon which made him constipated so we’re now on aptamil pepti and omeprazole.He does still have little bits of reflux but nowhere near as bad as it was and he’s alot more content x
Yes we’ve been on omeprazole with Nutramigen but it only really changed his poo didn’t help with reflux wind or all the discomfort and lack of sleep due to this. Now on omeprazole with Neocate which we’ve just started the Neocate but just pre-empting if it doesn’t work because I’m not convinced and just feel so hopeless with it all. We’ve been told if the Neocate doesn’t help that it’s just severe reflux and he’ll grow out of it and nothing else can be done 😔
