Cart Return
Hypothetical situation: You have a toddler and an infant. It is a hot day and you went shopping at Trader Joe’s. There is not cart corral in the parking lot, only at the front of the store. What do you do?

I do cart back, Carry one and toddler walk while holding hand back to car. When I wore baby I had toddler on hip and baby in carrier
Honestly depends on my mood and how tired I am. Also depends on the weather and time of day lol. Lets say its a nice morning and im full of energy than I will buckle kids in and return cart but if its pouring rain and im exhausted ready to go I will just leave it in lot and go.
I’m an avid cart returner before anyone comes for me but I think people go a little overboard using this as a morality test of sorts. Esp because I’ve seen and heard at least half a dozen grocery store employees say that they truly don’t care and sometimes even enjoyed having an excuse to go outside and meander about a bit to collect the carts. Obv this is not to say people shouldn’t return carts, but if I see a mom struggling with multiple small kids who just kinda pushes a cart to the side up on the curb out of the way I’m not going to think she’s a bad person
