Do you give your kids caffeinated beverages?

My kids father started giving my daughter of 8 years old Dr. Pepper…..doesn’t he know it has caffeine…..shouldn’t we not put caffeine in our kids drinks????

So, technically, I do give my kids very limited amounts of caffeine. Chocolate milk has caffeine. My kids like decaf chai, which still has some caffeine in it, although not as much as black tea.

I personally wouldn't give my kids a caffeinated soda. Maybe as a rare treat? But definitely not on a regular basis

If we have it eventually she will ask for it too that’s why we even don’t buy it at all.

We allow our 2 year old small sips of our coffee or soda if we are drinking it, but not more than a few here or there. Growing up from probably 8 to 24 i drank soda as a primary source of fluid. Very sad😬

lol idk I probably won’t but I grew up drinking cafe con leche instead of tea for my tea parties so….😅☕️

My oldest is only 4 so no. No kind of pop or tea or coffee or anything. But at 8 I would probably be okay with a little

We don’t. But I mean a couple sips of a soda won’t hurt every now and then as a treat. I wouldn’t ever give them an energy drink or things of that sort though.

At 8 I would be okay with a few sips if it's not close to bed time, but certainly not a whole caffeinated pop
