Tummy time

I have a 3 month old that absolutely hates tummy time. I’m worried that she’s not getting enough as every time I try she just screams like she’s in discomfort. I’ve tried distracting her with toys but she just isn’t interested in them. Not sure what else to do because I’m worried that if she doesn’t do tummy time she won’t hit her milestones. Anyone else having or had the same issue.
Any suggestions on what I could try to get her to like it or other things to try would be a massive help.
Many thanks x

My baby girl's best tummy time sessions are when I'm in a video call with my grandma and put the phone in front of her. I don't know what it is, whether it's my grandma's voice or the fact she likes to look at the screen but I just call her every time now and it works like a charm. Hope this helps!

Tummy time dosent have to be the baby laid on the floor, can be layed on your stomach, or even when they are held as long as they are controlling their head (have your hand ready for support)

I never laid either of mine on the floor as they both hated it my 3 month old holds her head fine and has started to try to roll from back to front some babys just need a little nore time x

My 3 month old little girl also isn’t a huge fan of the floor, she does it for much longer when it’s on my chest or across my legs. We also just do lots of sitting up straight and holding her at her chest and upper back so she’s having to control her own head and the health visitor says this counts as tummy time too 😊 made me feel much better about not getting as much floor time x
