Summer burnout 🔥

I’m a SAHM to two boys, eight & six, and about 20 weeks along with our baby girl. Every summer I start off super optimistic. Summer is going to be great, we are going to do all the activities together, we are going to make some great memories, gonna live life at a slower pace, etc etc. But somewhere along the way I loose my steam and fall flat on my face. My motivation, patience, and inspiration go out the window. Making three meals a day and endless snacks is the bane of my existence. Getting up and down 100x a day when my boys need something has me in physical pain. Now we are surviving on cheese-its and screen time PRAAAAAYING for school to start. Why am I like this?! It totally wrecks my confidence as a mother, and gives me biggest dose of mom guilt that I’m not enjoying these fleeting moments with my kids. I’m literally pulling my hair out and crying everyday just trying to do the simplest of tasks. Does anyone else experience this?! What the heck can I do better next summer? Is it time to shell out some $$$ for summer camps to get the kids out of the house for a while so I can have some alone time? My cup is so empty. I know the pregnancy hormones don’t help but man I just can imagine going through another summer like this with a baby in tow. HELP!!!!

If it makes you feel any better, Im sure it’s not just you. I have a 2 year old and a 2 month old (both boys) and totally feel like this will be me. I love to plan big but eventually burnout, I just get so excited and want my family to have the best. I can’t imagine it’s any easier being pregnant with two active children 😭

Im the same have an 11 year old, 3 year old and 6 month old. Baby is still waking every few hours in the night.
The 3 year old is pushing boundaries and my eldest we suspect has ADHD and with her hormones shes hard work.
I cry some days and get so stressed then feel guilty I'm wishing the time away.

Camps are great, so are VBS, memberships to a rec center or trampoline park, even a movie membership at AMC or Cinemark
