My daughter had an X-ray done today, and the radiologist noticed an abnormality that may be consistent with hip dysplasia. Her developmental-behavioral pediatrician said she’s submitted a referral to pediatric orthopedics so they can review her case. I’m wondering how common this is at this age and whether it can usually be treated without surgery. If your child was diagnosed around this age, what treatment did they need, and what was your experience?
