Does anyone also feels that they are losing themselves in this whole pregnancy journey. I mean its been this whole year the only thing i cared is surviving the pregnancy with every turns and new symptoms. I just forget my life before that, the independence and career i used to have.
And its so hard to stay at home and with baby coming its gonna be more harder each day that i feel i will lose a part of me.

i feel this way too and i’m a bit worried that i won’t feel like myself anymore…at least for awhile

i’m in the same boat. there’s so much change going on it’s overwhelming. trying to still maintain my hobbies and interests have grounded me

Not sure if this is helpful at all but I felt really lost a few weeks ago too. Then I read about matrescence, which basically puts pregnancy and motherhood as a second puberty. Like you are literally becoming a whole new version of yourself. + honestly that made SO much sense to me..
Our brains are literally changing to prepare us to take care of our babies, so ofc everything feels new and uncomfortable n weird. This is my first pregnancy too, and I think I have had to remind myself that I am not supposed to know exactly who I am on the other side of this yet.
Even my relationships, my body, my hobbies, my routines. Everything looks a little different now. Soon to be alot. And I think it is okay to mourn some of that. We can be excited and grateful for our babies and still miss parts of our old lives. I do not think those feelings cancel each other out.
I am trying to look at it as getting the chance to start over a little bit a d see the world differently. It is scary but also happy

Totally normal. You will loose your actual self to make space for a new version of you you'll soon discover. It's a hard journey but it's also incredible. It takes time. You got this.

Yup… this is my 3rd and I feel like I’m a baby machine now 😭 except I’m definitely putting an end to this back to back pregnancy cycle for sure this time. Because it’s too much to even handle. I’m glad me and the father got back together because it puts weight off my shoulders but it definitely caused the 3rd pregnancy. 😭 it is so hard being the default parent especially with slight mental and physical disabilities. I definitely think it has worsen after all these pregnancies too. But hey that’s why we as women are so powerful. We got this.
