My son has had a rash for a week now. It goes away when pressed with a glass but I’ve had to leave work 4 times the last week because it goes overnight but comes back during the day . Doctors have said it’s viral and have prescribed nothing. We’re told to try giving antihistamines if it flares up again which it has . Trying to get a doctors appointment to check him o er is like pulling teeth , rang them got told use the app , we used the app. The app then told us to ring the doctor. We rang them and said doctors will call you back regarding an appointment. This was at 8am and we are still waiting to hear back

My daughter had something similar last year. The rash covered her whole back, legs and arms, we took her to the chemist for advise and they gave us piriton for children and it helped with the rash. We aren't sure what caused it as nothing had changed with our routine

A rash is typically nothing to worry about if he's fine in himself. The doctors don't sound concerned. I'm assuming no temperature, no sickness, no lethargy etc
It's just viral / like a cold it can't be cured with antibiotics
