Induction at 39 weeks

I went through 2 rounds of induction and neither worked as I wasnt dialated at all. There was only slight contractions pain. There isnt anything to worry about in my opinion but it is different for everyone and you will do great

I had to get induced because my water broke and I wasn’t going into labor. They first gave me a pill which got my contractions going and no lie it was 0-100 for pain for me right away 😅 I ended up getting the epidural and that really helped! I did end up having to get Pitocin tho because my contractions slowed way down. But after that they got going again and not too long after that my daughter was born! It wasn’t a bad experience at all! I just wasn’t ready for how fast the contractions would hit. Before it started I was about 2-3 centimeters dilated and 80% effaced!

They’ll just break your waters if you’re 5cm already. Try to avoid synthetic oxytocin!
