Induction today
I’m booked for induction today, the days leading up to today have been so so difficult. I had natural delivery with my first baby girl , no tear - it was ok. So when they told me baby not growing as expected and booked me for an induction for today, I have been anxious.
I called them and until now there is no bed available and it’s making me more and more nervous anxious about this whole thing. Does anyone have positive stories around induction and how to go to through it strong minded, the more time goes on I’m getting really worried

Awww I know how you feel. I have 3 days until my induction (also because my baby girl has stopped growing) and I’m finding these days hell. Feel free to message me I’ll happily keep you company as someone in the same boat, hopefully a bed will become free soon!
I had an induction yesterday, everything went really good pessary at 9am, contractions started at 7:30 and baby was here by 12:01am, this was my 3rd child but first induction so I was also terrified, but overall it was a really positive experience x

Were you dilated and anterior ? Did you use any painkiller at all? I didn’t before and I’m wondering weather pessary makes the process worse/painful and I should have painkiller?
