Sitting in the bathtub?

Lie them down on the base of a shallow bath till they can sit confidently. Could lay a towel down to make it non slip if you don’t have a non slip mat yet

We switched as soon as we felt comfortable as parents, but I think it was around 6/7 months with my son and daughter. We got a non slip bath mat to cover the whole bath and did shallow water. It seems scary thinking about them not being ‘secure’ but you soon get used to it and it is SO much easier to wash them etc.

We were also using the Angel care bath seats but they were causing marks hence why we stopped.

My daughter (2.5 years) and my son (11.5 months) share a bath which also gives them less space to move around. X

our bath mat has been a life saver, but just keep an eye on the bottom of it as we had one that started going horrible around the suction areas!

I totally agree. Bathing twins sounds like an anxiety attack to me!! It will get so much easier. You can always give it a go and if it doesn’t work well try again in a couple weeks. If you feel like they aren’t sitting up confidently, literally do the most shallow bath so if they do fall back the water only can up to their ears 🙂

I’m not sure if it was mould (it was still sticking) but just looked dirty. Not slating my husband but he never lifts it back up after they have a bath so would just be wet underneath. I always stick it up on the wall. But I used to scrub and scrub with a toothbrush to get it clean. I now just get a £10 one of Amazon and replace it every quarter or so.

My son fell back once when we first started with no seat but surprisingly the mat is slightly padded so wasn’t so much of a hard landing. He hasn’t done it again as it shocked him and he got more cautious (now he pulls to stand it’s more terrifying) but you will be surprised how quickly they learn at this age x

I bath my 7months old laying in the bathtub with a towel folded under her head. Found this much easier than the bath seat we got and used twice before switching to this method
