It’s safer if you do wait. But guidelines all vary, would speak to the hairdresser to see which colour they will be using. Some are safe in pregnancy others not recommended.
I dyed mine the day I found out I was pregnant (around 3 weeks) because I did it before I took the test and didn’t know! I’ve also just dyed it again at 7 weeks because it was a mess and I’d done a lot of research that said that there is no evidence that current dyes cause any issues and just to keep the room ventilated/leave it on for the minimum amount of time. If you’re the type of person who would need an absolute “it’s completely fine!” From medical professionals then maybe don’t do it as you’ll never fully get that! It just completely depends on what you’re comfortable with.
