Bathtime tips

My little one is 12 weeks and loves bathtime and gets so relaxed while in it but when I take her out, dry her and get her ready for bed she cries alot. I assume its because she is cold getting out the bath and she's always been a bit fussy when I dress her. Has anyone managed to do this without a meltdown? 😅

Mines the same, only time she doesn’t is if my 6 year old puts on a “light show” but not very calming or something you can make a routine out of x

Mines the same I’m putting it down too that fact he is going through some sort of not wanted to be laid down haha! As soon as he is dressed and back on the shoulder he is calm haha! x

Mine did that. The last 2 times, I laid a towel on his changing mat and cover him with another one on top. It is all set before I take him out so he is "cold" only like 10 seconds. It seems to be working with my little man 🤷🏻‍♀️

My little boy loves bath time and then basically as soon as we have got him dressed either before or after my partner has read a story he just starts screaming! We haven’t worked out what is causing it or how to stop it! Would be interested if anyone has any tips too!

Mine is the exact same! Only just started doing it around 15 weeks x

i found putting warm oil on after work really well we use warm coconut water can just warm it on your hand

i sort of do it under the towl to keep her warm

I just gave my son a toy or his paci and it helped

I need some advice I’m 18 I’m 33 weeks pregnant with a girl my boyfriend only diced yesterday he doesn’t want to be in a relationship with him but says he still loves me I’m depressed I haven’t stopped crying I feel like my world is crashing down should I say anything to him or … i really don’t know what to do

Is it bad that my son is not the centre of my universe

We are 6 weeks in with my little boy. I adore him, he brings a smile face whenever I look at him.
However I do not think he is the centre of my universe.
I am a planet with multiple suns and my son is one of them perhaps one of the bigger ones but he is not the only sun in my life.

Is this unusual to say and feel ?

Breast pumping?

Hi all, question to mums out there who were/are exclusively pumping. When is it a good time to stop? I know everyone is different. However, my baby (4weeks) is currently comby feeding and she will have formula and pumped breast milk in a bottle. I know that the breast milk has a lot of good nutritions but having to pump up to 8 times a day can be a bit challenging. When do you know it's time to start reducing the pumping sessions and eventually stop? FYI my milk supply is not amazing so I usually get about 70-80ml per pump

Breastfeeding second child advice

Anyone got advice on breastfeeding second child?
I had an awful experience breastfeeding my daughter and ended up using formula within 2 weeks. My son is nearly 3 weeks old and we are successfully breastfeeding, but my gosh the mum guilt is so strong because I can’t just be with my daughter when she wants/ needs me. I also feel like I miss out playing with her when my son needs feeding. I desperately want to keep breastfeeding but equally I want to give up too because bottle feeding gives me that flexibility. I don’t want to pump because I found that last time equally as time consuming.

Terrible twos!

Does anyone else feel like there is more tantrums and tears than happiness and fun. I miss my little girl!! Everything feels like a challenge. She refuses to do anything i ask of her. Everything ends in tears!

I just want to know am i doing something wrong or is it not just me
