Tv and me time
Just genuinely curious. Are there any other mamas out there who don’t get 5 minutes to themselves. I have a baby and a toddler. I don’t get to watch any tv. I usually let the kids watch what they want and then when it’s play time or food time then I turn tv off. But lately I’ve been trying to watch whilst they play but I can’t even get 30 seconds without my toddler asking me millions of questions. She screams and shouts for attention if I try to watch tv or she wants to magically watch. So I feel like I’ve not really watched anything or any movies in the last few years. Is this normal? I’ve accepted my life but was wondering if my kids are just too much or if this is how it is with other parents. I don’t enjoy watching and reading subtitles so if I can’t hear what I’m watching then I refuse to watch lol

Honestly u don’t even try to have any me time while my toddler is up. I wait till he’s asleep, I make myself a good dinner or snack and that’s when my me time starts because if I try during the day I know it won’t happen and I’ll just get frustrated so I don’t set myself up for failure.
Me time starts after my little one goes to sleep, and I only have 1! There is no me time during the day. I will put shows on that i know with my eyes closed like friends, gavin and stacey etc just to keep me sane and that I can have on in the background. I save the good shows for when he's gone to bed 😊
See I can’t even have me time when they sleep as they are rubbish sleepers. One is up every 2 hours and one constantly crying, some days good and some days bad so I’m always tired and end up going to sleep too 🤦🏽♀️
Yes no me time whatsoever. I also co sleep, BF and he’s a terrible sleeper. Even my 6 year old is a terrible sleeper. “Me time” is a 5 minute shower with my daughter asking me about periods 😩🫠
