Contact sleeping

My baby boy is 14 weeks old now. He will only sleep chest to chest for daytime naps and at night. I have the next to me crib strapped to the bed and every night I try to transfer him once he’s asleep but he wakes up within 15 minutes. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and even when sleeping chest to chest he is still waking every 2 hours for a feed. I’m absolutely exhausted. Is anyone else’s little one like this and extremely resistant to sleeping anywhere other than on you?

My baby was like this after he was born. He also only slept in the crib for 15 minutes if I put him down. I gave up trying since I felt that it was becoming more dangerous trying to continue trying to set him in the crib and becoming overly exhausted versus just co-sleeping. I ended up using the safe sleep 7 to safely co-sleep. It was the only way I survived and we both got the sleep we needed. We co-slept until he was about 7 months old and then he was fine with sleeping in the crib. He is two now and his sleep is amazing and he sleeps independently. Dont be afraid to make the decision that’s right for your family.

Currently having the same problem but my boy is 17 weeks. I have put it down to the sleep regression as it probably started building and getting worse from 14 weeks.. definitely at the peak of sleep regression currently and really hoping it passes and gets better.
I have also ended up co-sleeping during the early hours of the morning over the last 3 weeks as I am exhausted with the constant get up, resettle, put down, repeat

It’s reassuring to know that other people are going through/ have been through similar and that it’s only temporary and does improve! I think my boy just wants to be close to his mummy which I’m trying to embrace but is hard at times when extremely sleep deprived! X

I am in the same boat at the moment with my 14 week old. Barely getting any sleep through the night as my little one has started waking every hour. He’s never ever took to his next 2 me so he’s always co slept
