Need advice

My baby daddy and girlfriend and I have gotten into it because I've called him a deadbeat and she felt the need to start texting me he'll call every once in a while and the girlfriend is never on the phone so this time he called and she was on the phone and all I told him "you can talk to our child but she doesn't need to be on the phone". I have already done child support and waiting on the information to get back. We're probably gonna try to get her legitimized. I blocked him because I just don't have time for the disrespect. I told him I want to have a conversation. He said I can text him. I don't wanna text that man. Am I wrong for blocking him... I do want him to have a relationship with his child, but I'm just tired of the deadbeat shit and the disrespect and going back-and-forth

It all sounds very childish. Ignore the girlfriend. Blocking him isn't necessary unless I'm missing something

I feel like blocking someone is something you do if they’re harassing you, which doesn’t seem to be an issue here. Actually kinda the opposite, so really it’d just be spiteful and stop him from getting to talk to his daughter or get any updates. Because even if he’s a deadbeat, At least he’s not TOTALLY out of the picture and does still call and talk to your daughter sometimes. That’s better than a lot of baby daddies can be, so if he’s not blowing your phone and his gf isn’t either, I don’t see why you’d need to block anyone…honestly might be a bad idea because he could use it against you in court saying youre withholding him
From having contact with his child…but I’m not a custody pro so I dunno. 🤷‍♀️

Download a coparenting app and only communicate through there.
