Anyone have experience with lip ties and did you have it cut? My son has a pretty significant lip tie and struggles with latching, clicks nonstop while eating, and is incredibly gassy which in turn makes him very fussy all day long.

My daughter had a tongue, lip, and 2 cheek ties. We got it revised when she was a few months old and it instantly improved her eating. It's so quick and painless.

My 1st has a lip tie and he’s three with no issues!
My second is almost 3 months and he had both a lip and tongue tie which we had released 6 weeks ago because he was gassy/colicky and it did not help at all! I wish I would have dug deeper into why he was gassy. His pediatrician now thinks he has cmpa

We had a tongue and lip tie released when my daughter was 8 days old. She was having a very hard time latching and we ended up needing a nipple shield. She’s 8 weeks now and we have her exclusively nursing without the shield and no issues.

My daughter had a tongue tie and lip tie, and after both being corrected, she started to eat much better, and has less gas, but still doesn't latch correctly and clicks every bottle. We had to stop breastfeeding because she wasn't getting enough, so I pump and do bottles and supplement with formula

My little boy had a mild tongue tie and I ended up having it cut. With it even just being a mild tie it improved his eating a lot.

My first had tongue, lip and cheek ties. He was a happy baby but horrible feeding issues and also a soy allergy that we found out about later. He got his done at 8 weeks. It required a lot of exercises afterwards so isn’t just simple like cut it. My newborn has a lip tie that we are not revising at this point. I know it’s harder to find but Craniosacral/fascial therapy of a myofunctional therapist would be probably my first step and see what they think or if it can be stretched.
My 5 week old seems so unhappy. I don’t understand whats wrong. She hates being put down. She sleeps fine for the first half of the night, after her night feed she spends the next 3 hours grunting and squirming. She will have a bottle then squirms and cries after it, but not always. I feel like i’m failing her.

I made a checklist for baby and I think im almost there BUT wondering if there was anything you needed but didn't know until you needed it? This is my first so my list is pretty standard I think (obvious bits) .. any input would be appreciated 💕

I guess I am not going incognito because if anyone wanted to reach out they could
Throughout my current relationship (4.5years) it has been made clear to me that i have a lot of unattractive and difficult traits. I guess prior to meeting my partner I just believed I was just how I was? I had never done "deep inner work" " spiritual work" "self improvement" i had done it professionally and i guess i had phases where physically i did better but ultimately I have been told and i do see a lot of it that i find it hard to say sorry, to take accountability, i feel constantly attacked and offended and any conflict does make me most of the time walk out or say i need space i find it so over whelming.
Im currently having my 3rd baby in 3.5years and my son (2yrs2mo) had a liver transplant when he was 7mo old so a lot of hospital time, also my partner had a long long history of drug addiction which he overcame but he has not worked 95% of our relationship, i did before my 1st and 2nd but not since my son was diagnosed at 7wks old.
Im asking for maybe someone somewhere for advice or a chat, i keep feeling like im a narcissist, a bad mom a bad partner, i feel like my family are better off without me sometimes YET i have always tried so so hard to keep our whole life together shielding my family from any outside shit and ive handled every prescription/appointment, i do 99% of the housework and cooking, im not in contact with family and i cut off all my old friends pretty much then moved 4hrs away so no social support
Is anyone hearing this?
Thanks fran x

Hiya, I'm a FTM to a 9 week old baby and I do not drive.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a food shop with the buggy (basinet or carseat).
Please can someone explain it like I'm a 2 year old 😂.
I am more than happy to babywear if thats part of the solution.
Asda have the carseat trolleys which I thought was a good idea (carseat clips onto buggy) but then I'd have nowhere for the bottom of the buggy to go, is there somewhere they'll let me leave it? 😂🤦🏻♀️
Wedging a basket on the pram while babys in the carrier is not cutting it anymore 😂

My baby girl is only a week old, so I understand this post may seem silly!
However, during the nights, I’m finding it difficult to transfer her back to her crib after getting her back to sleep following a nappy change and bottle. She stays on me for a good 20-30mins (if not, sometimes longer) after her feed so I know she’s in a deep sleep. As soon as I move her to her crib, she wakes up immediately and cries. My heart absolutely aches for her because I love the contact naps, but last night I could feel myself nodding off with her on my chest so I know I can’t safely allow her to do it during the night. During the day she’s absolutely fine. Does anyone have any advice on what may help, please?
She hates the swaddle haha, my scent is on her sheet, I soothe her when I put her down…I’ve done pretty much all the tricks that I’ve read upon!
I know it may seem silly considering her age, but I’m thinking from a safety perspective and would appreciate any advice!
Thank you in advance :) x

My 5.5 month old only does 10 hours over night, if she goes to bed at 7 she gets up at 5. She’s ready to go to sleep at that time, but if she does the following day she’s ready for bed at 5/6. She’s transitioning from 4-3 naps but she tends to do shorter naps early on in the day and a longer nap later. I have to contact nap for every single one, and co-sleep at night. If I try to leave her she wakes up. I get no time in the evenings with her dad at the moment and I just don’t know how to get her into a better routine. These early mornings and 1 hour (if I’m lucky) of seeing my partner at night are killing me.
Please help 😭
