Nappy sizes

My hubby is 6’5, I’m only 5 ft. We have a him size baby girl. Looking at her you wouldn’t think she’s over weight, she looks healthy but she’s a little chonk. She’s 10 months this week but I’ve had to put her in size 7 nappies. What do I do after this? What size nappies is everyone using? She’s half the size of my 6 year old boy, although he is a little short.

You might find that she will level out at some point. My daughter was a 97th centile baby and was a chunk for months, always a size ahead in clothes. She went in to size 6+ nappies at around 11 months old and she is now 2 and still in that size nappy and still fitting in some of her 12-18 month clothes as she is now on the move a lot so has levelled out in weight x

How much does she weigh? Have you tried nappy pants in smaller sizes? They’re much more flexible.

Following because we’re 9.5 months in size 7 😂

Try nappy pants in a size or two down

My daughter went into size 7 nappy pants at one point, then I sized back down to 6 where she stayed forever until only now at 3.5yo she’s gone back up to a 7! She might surprise you and stay in the same size for a while x

Food shop, no car?

Hiya, I'm a FTM to a 9 week old baby and I do not drive.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a food shop with the buggy (basinet or carseat).
Please can someone explain it like I'm a 2 year old 😂.
I am more than happy to babywear if thats part of the solution.
Asda have the carseat trolleys which I thought was a good idea (carseat clips onto buggy) but then I'd have nowhere for the bottom of the buggy to go, is there somewhere they'll let me leave it? 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
Wedging a basket on the pram while babys in the carrier is not cutting it anymore 😂

Sleeping

Hi, last night me and my newborn (2 weeks today) fell asleep last night and I forgot to set my alarm for 3hrs and we both slept for about 6hrs without her waking up to feed, usually she’d start getting fussy and start crying so I’d wake up anyways but she didn’t last night only woke up and started being fussy 6hrs later

I fed her and changed her nappy immediately she drank about 3oz and I feel so bad and am so worried , she seems absolutely fine but went straight back to sleep after feeding

Is she going to be okay? I genuinely feel so so bad and don’t know what to do, she’s gained 6oz since birth (weighed 4 days ago) and never lost any of her weight shed gained an oz by day 5

Putting baby down

My baby girl is only a week old, so I understand this post may seem silly!
However, during the nights, I’m finding it difficult to transfer her back to her crib after getting her back to sleep following a nappy change and bottle. She stays on me for a good 20-30mins (if not, sometimes longer) after her feed so I know she’s in a deep sleep. As soon as I move her to her crib, she wakes up immediately and cries. My heart absolutely aches for her because I love the contact naps, but last night I could feel myself nodding off with her on my chest so I know I can’t safely allow her to do it during the night. During the day she’s absolutely fine. Does anyone have any advice on what may help, please?
She hates the swaddle haha, my scent is on her sheet, I soothe her when I put her down…I’ve done pretty much all the tricks that I’ve read upon!
I know it may seem silly considering her age, but I’m thinking from a safety perspective and would appreciate any advice!
Thank you in advance :) x

Farts and poops

Men have woman on a pedestal. They look at us like princesses. You should never pass gas in front of your husband nor should he know when you go number two

Very stressed and overwhelmed newborn mama

I'm really struggling. Baby is 4 days old and She wont really settle after a bottle anymore. She gets hiccups and seems to have lots of gass, despite doing slow feeds with breaks for burping. She will settle if shes being held only but We are both exhausted with no sleep and im meant to be recovering and resting from csection. But dont understand how I can do that as my husband needs sleep too and I'mworried for him. Im worried we mightbe so tired that we make a mistake and harm her like falling asleep while holding. And you cant fall asleep holding her as its dangerous. Ive also had a bad intrusive thought and that's really scared me 😭
